CEMEX Deutschland Site


CEMEX had just launched a new international portal, and they needed help to standardize the sites from individual countries. As a team, we followed an established structure and design guidelines and developed a set of templates that every country could match easily.
For CEMEX Germany, we were able to update the site following the new visual style and content format, as well as accommodate certain features to their particular business model.

Goal

To reorganize CEMEX Germany online information and align it to the new pattern.

Technical requirements

Built on Liferay Portal only for Desktop.

3. Information Architecture

By following the new information design for all countries, we managed to achieve a balanced site where we could showcase the product and services catalogs, organizational needs, and the business information that distributors and partners require.

2. Wireframes

We took the new patterns created for the new global CEMEX site, and we turned them into templates adequate for Liferay to keep them manageable and repeatable for all countries.
The following wireframes display the standard component layout, which could be customized if the business required it.

3. Mockups

One of the new widgets we designed for Germany, is the locations map on the Home page, which was easy to place in our dynamic template.
CEMEX Germany was one of the projects that best followed the new standards for content and visual style.
